    This is a compilation of a few videos from YouTube that feature wood sub floors. These videos show wood sub floors over floor joists as well as slabs and are informative as well as, sometimes, humorous. Take a few minutes to enjoy them. The longest is only about four minutes.

    The first wood sub floor video is a humorous time-lapse video of a couple redoing the subfloor of a really small room. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if home remodeling projects could actually go so fast?

    Next up we have a video showing the replacement of an old plank wood sub floor. This is a really short video but it shows you what the bare floor joists look like after the wood sub floor has been removed. Also, take note of the use of lumber pieces to create a safe work environment.

    The third video shows an easy way to repair a hole in a wood sub floor when you don’t have access to the under side. The technique is good in this video but we would recommend using a longer piece of 2×4 to allow more support screws. The general process is good but, in our opinion, the repaired area of the wood sub floor shown would be a little weak in a few years.

    Last but not least we have a video of a very cool tool for screwing down the plywood of your new wood sub floors. Even better than that would be using it for securing the concrete board under a tile installation.
